terms of service

mira (operated at mirapalms.com) is a soft, AI-generated palm reading web app. you take a photo of your palm, we generate a personalized reading. these terms ("terms") govern your use of the site and the service. by using mira you agree to them.

readings are AI-generated for entertainment purposes. they are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, relationship, or career advice. don't make important decisions based on a palm reading. we make no guarantees about accuracy or outcomes.

you must be at least 16 years old to use mira (18+ in some jurisdictions). if you're under that age, please don't use the site.

your first reading is free. additional readings, deeper sections, and the compare-with-friend feature require a $2.99 USD/month subscription. billing is handled by Stripe.

• subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal (we'll add an in-app link soon; in the meantime email us). you keep access through the end of the current billing period.
• we may change prices with at least 14 days notice via email to active subscribers.

we'll issue a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription charge if you ask. after that, we generally don't refund partial months, but we'll listen — email support@mirapalms.com.

you keep ownership of your palm photos and your generated readings. you grant us a limited license to process them in order to provide the service (run the AI, store the result, show it back to you, share via compare links you initiate). we don't sell your photos or readings to third parties. we don't train AI models on them.

you can request deletion of your data anytime by emailing support@mirapalms.com — see the privacy policy for details.

don't use mira to:

• upload images of anyone who hasn't consented;
• attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service;
• resell readings as if you authored them;
• harass, defraud, or harm others using share links;
• violate any applicable law.

we may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

when you initiate a compare-with-friend reading, the unique share link grants the holder a one-time slot to add their palm and view the joint reading. you're responsible for who you share the link with. anyone with the link can claim that slot once.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, mira is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

you can stop using mira anytime. we can terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms. on termination, your right to use the service ends but the sections that by their nature survive (e.g. liability limits) continue to apply.

we may update these terms. material changes will be announced via email (if you have an account) or a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. continued use after that = you agree.

these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. you and we agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
